Spotted Online – Adventure People Alpha Probe at Retroist

If you aren’t keeping one eye on Retroist (website, Twitter) then you’re missing out on some fantastic and fun posts. What kinda posts? Well, this Fisher-Price Adventure People post is exactly the sort of excitement that will keep your day going great . . . but only if you’re really watching for the fun.

This would be a great vehicle for my Adventure People X-Ray Woman (review here), and seeing the post makes me again think I should be working at scoring some other old Adventure People toys. It really was an amazing toy line and it’s a crime that I don’t own more toys in the series.

  1. Oh my god, I had this as a kid and never knew what it was! I think the astronauts were lost before I ever got it, but it was a giant shuttle with sounds and a mini shuttle! It was so so awesome…

  2. @Black Zarak – The entire Adventure People series was great and I used more than a few of the toys with my Star Wars figures. If the prices weren’t so high these days I’d be trying to collect these.

  3. @DoctorKent – I had toyed with the idea of an Adventure People post during that week. At the very least just so that I could point at the hand/arm poses on the figures and compare them to Glyos System Travelers.
