Spotted Online – Adventure People-Inspired Glyos Constructions
The classic seventies/eighties Adventure People series by Fisher-Price (see This Old Toy’s Adventure People archive) continues to inspire madman Matt Doughty (Onell Design) as we can see in this post at the Glyos Transmission Web Log.

Such great little constructions! In looking at the photos I think what we’re seeing here was created solely with Buildman figures and Axis Joint sets, but it’s possible that I’m missing a key part or two from a different figure. (Actually, I do see a Bean Bot piece hiding in there, so it’s definitely more than I first thought.) But looking at these photos does do exactly one thing . . . it tells me I should hit the Onell shop and grab more Axis joints. After all, it would be wrong to not have enough of these very useful joints.

That little Glyanaut got something rolling while I was building some stuff, resulting in a full spectrum of Adventure People inspired creations. As I was working on the designs, it became more and more clear that having fully interchangeable “human” proportioned characters is a welcome addition to the ranks and has me analyzing the 2″ scale a little harder.
