Spotted Online – Against Star Wars Spoilers
I understand the desire to avoid movie spoilers. The ability to enjoy a film as an immersive story and learn secrets and plot twists as the movie plays is fantastic, and it’s for that reason that movies like Snowpiercer* and Edge of Tomorrow* were so very fun for me; I knew almost nothing about them going into the films.
Over on Medium, Justin Cox shares why he’s avoiding Star Wars posts and watched the trailer only once. Cox is trying to see the new film and learn the story as the movie unfolds, and that’s an admirable thing to do. Me? I’ve seen and read enough that I’ll probably know a few secrets in advance, but that won’t stop me from rushing off to the theater early the 18th and taking my reserved seat. I’m ready.
