Spotted Online – Alexandr Mychajlow Artwork for Fairytales of Foreign Writers
Artwork blog A Journey Round My Skull is back with my beautiful artwork from foreign lands, this time featuring the work of Russian artist Alexandr Mychajlow. What amazes me the most is that this artwork is from 1988; just looking at this I would have placed bets the work was either late nineteenth century or early twentieth century.
A quick search online didn’t reveal any more artwork by Alexandr Mychajlow, which is frustrating, so if anyone out there knows where I can see more of his work please let me know. For that matter, if anyone has links to similar artwork I’d love to see it. This style isn’t something we encounter often (at least not as modern work), so the more I can see the happier I’ll be. Anyone?
