Spotted Online – Ben Miniberg’s Striking Tortoise

Ben Mininberg’s (blog, Twitter) has been taking advantage of living in the future and using 3d printing technology to build fascinating toys, toys like the Striking Tortoise mech shown at his site. Ben’s quite talented, and seeing what he’s doing with the 3d printer makes me think that the toy customizing hobby can only get more awesome as the prices on these machines come down and they become a standard tool in garage studios.
