Spotted Online – Blade Runner Deleted and Unused Scenes Crafted into a 45-Minute Video
Indiewire.com has shared a 45-minute video of the classic Blade Runner* film. What’s important is that the video — taken from a 2007 DVD release of the film — is cobbled together from unused scenes and material, and the end result is a bit of a surprising art piece that could prove very inspirational to anyone working on a dystopian future setting or story.
To sum up, none of the footage used in this abridged version of the film shows up in any of the five available cuts. This short version is an interesting look at what might have been and also gives us even more insight on how films can morph through the post-production process.
