Spotted Online – Blue Snagglepuss Bootleg Resin Toy

I’ve reviewed two Blue Snaggletooth collectibles from Gentle Giant over the years — Blue Snaggletooth Statue review here, Star Wars Jumbo Vintage Blue Snaggletooth review here — in the past, making no secret of my bizarre fascination with the toy/character, so when I saw the resin Blue Snagglepuss toy posted at ToysREvil I just had to stop and take a closer look.

Awesome idea, and the finished resin toy looks quite fun. The only thing I would have done different would be to make the flesh of the action figure more the grayish/beige tones of the Blue Snaggletooth toy. The Snagglepuss pink strikes me as a bit odd, and I feel the design would have benefitted from the more subdued color of the Blue Snaggletooth character.

Hey, maybe the skin change can be used for a second run of the toy in the future?
