Spotted Online – Bowen Designs’ Arnim Zola Special Effect
Bowen Designs (official website, at Sideshow Collectibles*) is trying something different with their upcoming Arnim Zola mini-bust: it looks like a hologram or lenticular sticker adhered to the statue’s chest. I’m highly unlikely to go after this statue for myself so my opinion doesn’t matter all that much, but I have to say that I’m torn because I like the sculpted face and like the idea of the gimmick. One solution might be to pack in a sculpted face that snaps in over the sticker. That would add to the cost, but it would also make both camps happy.
