Spotted Online – Chaos Next at Kaiju Korner

Kaiju Korner has the scoop on this cool Chaos Next toy design from Real X Head. I’ve been watching these Mirock designs pop up — see this search for mirock at toybot studios — and loving the angular, sharp lines of the toys and I think the colors (specifically, the green) in this Chaos Next turn this from a “cool” to a “want.”

The two December releases were shown in this month’s Hyber Hobby. The first (green and metallics on flesh body) was a Shinto Gangu store release. The second (metallics on black body) was released at the store’s Dec 26 four-man show).

You know, staring at this design makes me start to see how painting one with a Stormtrooper-inspired design could lead to a fantastic colorway. You would have to use a black bit in place of a doll eye, and you may want to scrounge up a blaster for the guy, but I am really starting to visualize where the paint would fall to bring out one gorgeous Stormtrooper-like design. It’s not likely to happen, but it sure would look fun.
