Two pages from the 1982 JC Penny catalog caught my eye and make me wish I had more pages in my new book, Each Sold Separately, for catalogs. Look at this Universal Monsters playset and that military playset for G.I. Joe figures. Great stuff!

Ok so what is up with #1 in the ’82 JC Penny Catalog scan? Is that scaled for 3 3/4″ figures? That thing looks amazing, and I can’t find jack after an afternoon yesterday of Googling for it.
@_RZ_ – You mean that Military Command playset? Definitely scaled for 3.75-inch figures. Look at those Joes around it and the product description.
@Phillip – yeah but do you know what is it called? More info at all? I can’t find anything on it, and it looks like a knock-off of the Mego 3.75″ Pocket Super Heroes Batcave, one of my favorite toys from my childhood.
