Spotted Online – Clear Bootleg Starscream Review
I linked to the glow-in-the-dark Seekers yesterday (mentioned here), and today I’m making sure everyone gets a look at the Clear Starscream review at Fallen Empire Toys. A generally favorable review, so I’m now filled with hope that the “Seekers” I ordered will be of a high enough quality that they don’t shatter as I play with them.
I really do not understand how these bootlegs exist, but it’s kinda neat to see so many unusual colorways that Hasbro never would have bothered with.

No less desirable, really, since clear transformers are like catnip to me.
It’s my general understanding that a lot of the odd color “bootlegs” are actually people who work at the factories where the real toys are made, loading up the machines with random colors when no-one’s supervising them.
Actually it does appear a bit yellowed in the pics, I should have addressed it in my review, but the yellow tint is more of an abnormality of the photography and editing. The figure itself is crystal clear. 😀
