Spotted Online – Coca-Cola Vending Machine that Works without Electricity
Fast Company magazine (at Amazon.com*) really should be on your daily reading list because there’s always something remarkable at the site. This morning, as I was getting ready to head out for the Origins convention, I ran across this article on a bio cooler. This is pretty neat because:
- It’s an engineering feat. Coca-Cola has created a vending machine — they say cooler, but it dispenses three different types of drinks so I say vending machine — that keeps drinks cold without the use of electricity.
- It’s a marketing feat. Coca-Cola is one of the top brands on the planet, and it is actions and videos like the one they released that keeps them at the front of everyones’ minds.
- It’s a well-crafted video. Very well-crafted, but that really shouldn’t surprise anyone considering how much cash the company has to sink into such ideas.
