Spotted Online – DIY Trading Card Packs from Sidekick
I absolutely love this idea! Over at Plastic and Plush is an announcement that Sidekick (website) is publishing a “DIY Trading Card Set” with a $30 retail price and packed with 40 black wrappers and 260 blank cards. Awesome! Ever since reading Sketch Card Mania* a few years ago I’ve been wishing I had time to create a set — I even carry blank sketch cards and pens with me on trips in the hopes I’ll get free time — and now seeing this new product just again makes me kinda sad that I have so little free time in my life.
Mr. Doughty at Onell should do a Glyos set on these.
@Court – Good idea, but I’m not sure if Matt has time for a project like that these days. But fans creating their own sketch cards and trading them is always fun.
