Spotted Online – Episode Seven Stormtrooper?

There’s a post at ToysREvil today showing artist Tom Hodges’ sketch of a new Stormtrooper helmet design that was reportedly posted at Instagram. Well, the Instagram link no longer works which implies that the art may have really been what it claims to be and someone had it taken down.

If this is real it almost feels a bit too sleek and shiny for my tastes. The helmet keeps some of the basics of the classic Stormtrooper design, but details are simplified and the entire thing seems to be slowly devolving back into the basic shape of Boba Fett’s helmet.

I guess we’ll know the truth next year . . .
