Spotted Online – FansProject Creating an Unofficial Transformers Roadbuster
There must be something in the air, because after last week’s look at an officially licensed Transformers Roadbuster toy (mentioned here) we’re now getting peeks at FansProject’s upcoming unofficial Roadbuster toy. Click through to the TFW2005 thread for pics of the toy on display at TFCon this past weekend. I love the robot mode, but that vehicle mode feels just a little weak to me; the back end of the vehicle doesn’t seem to know what it wants to do and the guns look tacked on and not integrated into the design.
That robot mode, though, looks awesome. And since those Deluxe Autobot toys from 1985 were ones I only saw in the Hasbro catalog and never played with they’ve always had a bit on an untouchable vibe in my mind, which makes this announcement kinda extra cool and exciting for me. But that vehicle mode is not all that great.
