Spotted Online – FansProject Cubrar Video Review by Kuma Style

FansProject’s take on the 1985 Dinobot Slag (see the TFWiki) is expected to ship very soon, but we can get an early look at the toy in TJ’s latest video review. I love that FansProject is doing a bit more with their not-Dinobots series and giving the dino-bots transforming partners. Cubrar has a little companion that transforms into an axe, making these not quite Targetmasters but something close to the same idea.

The only thing that concerns me is TJ’s review doesn’t cover the transformation of the toy. My first fear was that this is because the transformation design is frustrating and fiddly, but peaugh’s review of the TFCon exclusive version of this toy shows me that the transformation design looks pretty good. Yay!
