Spotted Online – Finally Found Out What Toy I Used
So last year I found a toy at a yard sale and bought it because it was cheap and weird. I then hacked into the beast and used bits of it on my Unidentified Monstrous Organism resin toy. I loved the arms, and part of the head, so those had to be used to create something new.
Well, I now know exactly what the toy was that I carved into. I knew it was a Power Rangers toy, but I hadn’t found out exactly which one it was. Monsterforge posted a bunch of Power Rangers toys and there’s my guy, Goo Fish. What a name! But no matter the name, those arms still look great and I’m glad I found the toy when I did.
Thanks, Monsterforge, for the post! It makes me happy to know exactly which toy I sacrificed to the God of Bootleg Toy Manufacturing.
Ha! That is too funny, man! You took Goo Fish and made him cooler! I get a kick out of identifying what parts go into designer bootlegs– I have no idea how I missed this one when I saw your figures!
@Monsterforge – I’m glad you posted those, because I never would have known what it was otherwise. Other bits used in these bootlegs include these waist parts on the Phage figure from the old Toy Biz Spider-Man series.

The photo above clearly shows these bits . . . if you know what to look for.
