Spotted Online – GoBots Memories at Plastic and Plush
Disguised as a review, this Plastic and Plush post does a fantastic job of giving us an overview of the GoBots as well as an idea of why Transformers overtook GoBots on the market. It all boils down to presentation and story, and the post gives us this incredible line that I’ll likely quote again at some point:
“Most kids fell into either the pro-Transformer or pro-GoBot group. It was basically the two political party system for male children in the 1980’s.”
