Spotted Online – Head-Popping Madballs at The Fwoosh
There must be something special in the air these days. Just a few weeks ago I mentioned the upcoming Madballs comic books, which in itself is shocking, but now I see a post at The Fwoosh demanding that someone update the old Head-Popping Madballs action figures of the eighties.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Head-Popping Madballs toys then the post at The Fwoosh will be a real treat for you. These action figures fired off their insanely-crafted heads, and as the post shows there were several different figures to choose from.
It seems unlikely to me that these toys will be revived, but I can definitely agree with the request and am happy to state that I would buy one or two and try them out if the toys were ever brought back to shelves.
“Madballs latched on to the part of my brain that collected Garbage Pail Kids and would not let go. Mainly because they were very similar to Garbage Pail Kids except for the fact that they were round, made of foam and were completely different. But they were perverse. Weird. Odd. Strange.”
