Spotted Online – iGear Kup Head Review
I’ve yet to find the new Transformers Generations Kup in stores, but this new review makes me think that once I find a Kup I’m gonna want to order the iGear Custom Head Set (at TFSource) because the new heads (yes, there are two) look way better than the official head.
$20 may sound like a lot to spend for a $12 toy, but hardcore Transformers fans have proven time and again that they’re willing to spend for upgrade kits. But I refuse to seriously even think about it until I find a Kup . . . and I’m finding that I’m closer than ever to just going for an online order (Amazon.com*) because it’s looking less and less likely like I’ll find this guy in stores.
I didn’t know you were looking for Kup. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen him a few times in Dallas. If I find one I can pick it up for you and shoot you an email.
He’s still shipping. Charlie Parry (in NY, mind you) said he found multiples just last week. I haven’t seen him once yet in NJ.
@Clark – Where are you spotting Kup? I haven’t seen him at Target, Wal-Mart, or HEB.
@DoctorKent – I’ll keep looking around. And maybe when I’m in Atlanta this week I’ll get a chance to search through some stores.
@Philip – I’m seeing all the new ones at Target right now. I’m almost certain that I saw Kup last week in Plano. It seems that for the last several months Target has been getting new Hasbro items before any other stores I check.
