Spotted Online MakeToys’ Unofficial Transformers Tailgate Pics
Over the weekend at TFCon third party Transformers manufacturer MakeToys showed off a new Tailgate design. Inspired by IDW’s Transformers comics (Amazon.com search*) this new Tailgate is part of the same series as MakeToys’ Swerve (last mentioned here) which makes me quite happy; their Swerve and Gears two-pack is my favorite release so far from MakeToys so getting a Tailgate and Windcharger set is something I can get behind entirely.
It’s a good thing I’ve got the sequel to Transforming Collections* all wrapped up because I need to start preparations for a new book. Just how long will this third party scene go before it collapses? No idea, but I can admit that it has already grown larger than I ever thought it would.
