Spotted Online – Manchess’ Cover to Solomon Kane: Red Shadows

Gorgeous, gorgeous cover (at the Dark Horse site) for the upcoming Red Shadows, a new Solomon Kane comic mini-series that . . . well, that I’ll be waiting to read when it’s collected. And I love that the first comic adapts “Skulls in the Stars” which is possibly my favorite of Howard’s Kane stories. This story has been adapted to comics before — see Wikipedia for a list — but I don’t mind since I’ve so far enjoyed the two previously released Kane Dark Horse comic collections (Castle of the Devil* and Death’s Black Riders*).

I really do owe you guys “reading” posts for those two collections.
