Spotted Online – Mars Attacks Card Images
This post at Golden Age Comic Book Stories shows the entire 1962 Mars Attacks trading card set. It’s not the greatest set of scans — the larger images really show how poor the scans are — but they’re okay and it makes me want a book that shows off the entire set.
Those Martians sure had it all, even scary robot war machines. Retro robot designs always look great, and it’s only because of the high cost of collecting them that I don’t own any tin robot toys. I guess tin robot toys are cheaper than most resin toys, though . . .
