Spotted Online – Mars Attacks Dice Game Review at Father Geek
This one’s a bit self-serving since I’m one of the designers, but for those interested in the game there’s a review at Father Geek where Cyrus plays the game with kids, parents, and gamers, and then weighs the responses and offers up the opinions of each group.
My absolute favorite quote in the review comes from one of the kids who played the game:
“I want to play this again as soon as we are done destroying everything.â€
I’m off to Gen Con today where we’ll offer the Mars Attacks Dice Game for the first time ever, and where I’ll spend so much of my time in meetings that I don’t really expect to see much of the convention. But that’s okay; I’ve got staff there working away running demos and interacting with all of the gamers so I’m free to sit in meetings and do my thing.
If any of you are at Gen Con I expect to be at the booth Friday morning for an hour or so and then again Saturday morning. All other times my booth presence will be random and tough to follow.
