Spotted Online – Marvel Universe Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends

Maybe I have to bribe someone at Hasbro to get their attention, because the different approaches I’ve taken have resulted in zero response. Or, more likely, the marketing muscle at Hasbro (and their PR firm) don’t think battlegrip.com is worth the effort because of those things I said about Hobgoblin (review here) and The Thing (The Thing). Bah. None of that really matters I guess, I’m just rambling a bit when I should be pointing out that ActionFigurePics has posted photos of another new TRU Pack.

I happened to see this particular Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends pack at Toys’R’Us yesterday when I was searching for that pack with the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents (my Nick Fury could use some support) and after looking closely at the box I decided to pass. Firestar didn’t look all that great, I already own a Spider-Man action figure in this Marvel Universe series (review here), and the X-Men Origins Iceman figure I already grabbed (review here) looks better than what’s in this box.

I do appreciate that ActionFigurePics posted photos, though, since it helps me to verify that I made the right decision in passing on the set. I also passed on the pack that includes Silver Surfer (who I don’t care for in any form), Daredevil in his classic costume (I already own the red costume Daredevil), and Stealth Iron Man (review here). Unfortunately, the pack I wanted was nowhere in sight at Toys’R’Us.

I’ll try again later this week.
