Spotted Online – Masters of the Universe Classics Clawful Review
July’s new Masters of the Universe Classics figure, Clawful, is reviewed over at The Fwoosh so now’s your chance to get a closer look at the toy before deciding whether or not to drop cash on the toy. (Unless, of course, you have a subscription. In that case this guy is yours whether you like him or not.)
The review is quite favorable, but just looking at the various photos was enough for me to know that this one isn’t for me. The head just looks too, too goofy and silly for my tastes. The claws look fine, the armored chest piece looks good, but that head is just wrong for me.
But I’m likely alone in that line of thinking.
I mean, I knew he would be coming eventually but I had a lot of Evil Warriors that were much higher priorities for me at the time. However, now that he is here, he might be in my new top five for the line. I know that changes every other month, but he is going to be very meaningful for fans of the vintage figure. He is colorful, dynamic and has the best name in all of MOTU-dom.
