Spotted Online – Masters of the Universe Classics Shadow Weaver Review at It’s All True
I’m not all that likely to ever sign on for Mattel’s Masters of the Universe Classics subscription service, but that doesn’t make this year’s sub figure, Shadow Weaver, look any less awesome to me. Take a look at this review at It’s All True for pics and thoughts on the toy . . . and then cry when you see that the toy’s asking price is $110 at Amazon.com*.
And it doesn’t get all that much better if you search for “shadow weaver” at eBay. Ouch. Well, I guess that’s the danger of skipping subscriptions and special events. I’ll live.

I’d much rather go without Shadow Weaver and not be locked into $500 worth of MOTUC products, than go ahead and get a sub.
Shadow Weaver is definitely one of the cooler sub figures. Since she is actually a unique character to MOTU fans (unlike Wundar and Pre-Eternian He-man who are more or less variants) I thought it was pretty crappy to make her a sub-only figure.
Oh well, I don’t plan on getting more than 2-3 MOTUC figures this year anyway.
