Spotted Online – Missmonster’s Tentacle Shoes

Ever since grabbing Art & Sole (“reading” post here) I’ve been more interested in customized and designer sneakers. I bought any crazy sneakers yet, but I can sense that the day of shoe shopping is fast approaching.

Alex was mean enough to fuel my hunger for customized sneakers by showing me this photo of a pair of sneakers customized by Missmonster. Beautiful work, and exactly the sort of shoes I could see myself buying and wearing.

I need a shoe manufacturer to license this design and sell me some of these. Green shoes with awesome tentacle artwork? This is about as close to Cthulhu sneakers as I’m likely to get so I’d happily take a pair.

Anyone else out there falling in love with customized sneakers, or am I the only nut around here?
