Spotted Online – Moebius: The Visionary’s Visionary at Tor Books

Tim Maughan has posted a fantastic essay on Moebius at the Tor Books blog . . . and it is a must read for anyone who loves sci-fi, artwork, or the Imperial Probe Droid. Tim masterfully covers why Moebius was a great artist and how his work affected and influenced so many who came after him. And, maybe more importantly to me personally, the essay has me itching to go back and look at the artist’s work again. You see, Moebius is an artist I’ve always known of, but one I’ve never truly appreciated.

Tim’s essay has my impressions of Moebius slowly twisting and changing. Yes, the essay is that good.
