Spotted Online – Monsterforge’s Glyan Bug Hunter
So just how much can you customize the Glyan (review here) action figure? Well, in this post at the October Toys forum Monsterforge shows us exactly how far he will push designs with a Starship Troopers*-inspired custom. And like always with Monsterforge, this is one fabulous work of art.
UPDATE: As bighatdino points out in his comment, below, this is likely more Aliens*-inspired than it is Starship Troopers-inspired. Having had this pointed out to me I can see it now; for some reason my brain immediately jumped to Starship Troopers. Are the uniforms from the two movies really that similar?
Is that not more an Aliens inspired figure? He has a colonial marine assault rifle, and has a bit of a Hicks look to him 🙂

I think every sci-fi movie since aliens had been inspired by the designs of those marines, and especially Starship Troopers and Halo.
