Emiliano Santalucia (blog, Twitter) updated his blog with new He-Man artwork, showing us both a sketch of the Masters of the Universe hero, a colored version of the work, and a third version created using a filter on Instagram. Excellent work as always, and seeing this makes me sorta wish Emiliano would publish a book collecting his artwork. I’d buy one.
I’m always very jealous of my artists friends that find time to do sketches just for fun, and have the skills to just do awesome images in a few minutes. Being the perfectionist I am, I find very difficult to be happy with simple sketches, that’s why I never likes the sketches I do for people at conventions.
