Spotted Online – New Third Party Transformers Manufacturer’s Combaticons Announcement
Woah! Now this is how you tell the world you plan to make some unofficial Transformers toys. More pics and drool is happening over at TFW2005, but so far what we know is that a new company named Warbotron is promising us what appears to be the best version of the Combaticons we may ever see. If the final product quality is as incredible as the promise and hope these photos provide then I may have a new instant favorite Transformers toy ever.
No computer renders. No silhouettes. No random and bizarre net postings. Just BAM, all five members of the Combaticons in physical prototype form. And transforming. And, as this next shot shows, combining! I can’t wait to learn more about this.

As the pics started floating aroung the internet, my droll factor got higher and higher. These things look massive and amazing…..and expensive! I am enjoying these now as no price point has been released. I can still pretend like I might get them. 🙂
Supposedly we’re getting preorders in November.
And the way that info was worded suggests we might be looking at multiple combiners from this group down the road.
What gets me is the sheer size of the pieces, really really impressive lookin.
@Court – I know what you mean about size. But after Metroplex arrived (the day before this latest trip, so the most I did was drool on the box) it’s going to take a lot for someone to make me say: That’s a big robot.
@Paul – I’m scared these will be $150 to $200/each.
I hope these aren’t super pricy, though they likely will be. It all looks really fantastic, I love how puny T-Bone looks next to them.
I’d really like to pick these up.
@ryanlb – I suspect they’ll be kinda pricey. But everything is making them look worth some real bucks.
