Spotted Online – Rare Star Wars Toys That Never Made it to Stores
Personally, the closest I get to collecting Star Wars toy prototypes is buying books like Gus and Duncan’s Guide to Star Wars Prototypes* and Star Wars: From Concept to Screen to Collectible*, so seeing this seven minute interview with Steve Sansweet is a bit of a treat. Sansweet shows us some of the prototype action figures and statues in his collection, the best of which has to be the prototype Droids and Ewoks second series toys that were never produced.
Enjoy the video, and do your best not to immediately hit eBay and run a search for “star wars prototype” . . . wow, that’s some pricey stuff.
