Absolutely agree, Adam! I think something many collectors and toy fans don’t quite understand is sense of scale when we’re talking about small toymakers. The majority of these small operations are labors of love, taken on because the creator wants a toy and not because it’s a profitable business. Expecting that a toy from a one or two man operation to come at the same price point as an action figure from Mattel or Hasbro — about $10 billion in business each year combined — is unrealistic.
