Spotted Online – Sci-Fi Art: A Graphic History Review at Parka Blogs
I grabbed myself a copy of Sci-Fi Art: A Graphic History* a few months ago because the book looked exactly like the sort of title I would want to own. An overview of sci-fi art from the 1800s through today? Yes, exactly what I would enjoy.
Unfortunately, the binding on the book is so horrible that pages continue to fall out. And it got so bad that I shelved the book and won’t even touch it; seriously, the binding is awful. Which is too bad, because as this review at Parka Blogs shows, the contents of the book are excellent. Really, I was enjoying the book up until the point that I realized that each time I turned a page the page separated from the binding. No wonder it’s knocked all of the way down to $10 now.
