Spotted Online – Shapeways Unofficial Prowl Weapon Prepped and Painted

Yesterday I posted a link to the unofficial Insecticon accessories at Shapeways (posted here), but while we wait for my parts to arrive I thought it would be fun to direct you guys at this Seibertron post about Prowl’s weapon. Including info on cleaning and painting the weapon, as well as several photos, this post is combination review and tutorial. And seeing the weapon has me excited to see just how the Insecticon weapons look in person.

You can find this weapon, and several others, at Shapeways under the Sunlink banner. Lots of accessories there and a lot of opportunities to make official Transformers toys of today look a little more like their original eighties designs.
