Spotted Online – Star Wars British Weekly #124 Cover by Carmine Infantino and Gene Day
How is it that this British Star Wars cover doesn’t appear in either The Amazing World of Carmine Infantino* or Carmine Infantino: Penciler, Publisher, Provocateur*? Those are the only two books about Carmine Infantino that I own, and in looking at this incredible cover featuring Darth Vader and Stormtroopers it strikes me as wrong that the art didn’t find its way into either of the two books. Still, I guess the best response at the moment is: Look, Carmine Infantino Star Wars artwork that’s new to me!!!
We need an art book dedicated to the early Star Wars comic art by Marvel and the newspaper strip.
