Spotted Online – The Fwoosh Identifies Five Star Wars Black Figures We Need . . . But Won’t Get
It’s good to see that even though I’ve been swamped the rest of the web is creating fun content for all of us to enjoy. The “Top 5 – Five Star Wars Black Series Characters Needed (That We Won’t Get!)” post at The Fwoosh does a fantastic job of both making me more and less excited about the 6-inch Star Wars Black series. The thought of the line possibly not including 6-inch scale versions of R5-D4, Power Droid, and the Death Star Droid makes young me weep.
At least all three are available in Gentle Giant’s 12-inch scale Star Wars Jumbo Vintage action figure series!

I, for one, am looking forward to this line. I’ve wanted 6″ers for a long time. I want the full bounty hunter line from Empire. I also need Ackbar. Other than those, I’m good. I’m still picking those up.
Phil, you know they’ll go as deep as sales dictate on these. Your Gentle Giant line is going to wind up re-creating the ENTIRE original Kenner line. Madness. I think Hasbro will do every possible character in six-inch that they can.
@John K. – Isn’t the big difference expectations? Some of the Gentle Giant releases have had runs under 1,000. Does Hasbro produce super-short runs of all new sculpts?
Actually, what is the average size run of a Hasbro action figure these days? 5,000? 10,000?
