Spotted Online – Transformers Devcon Review at Cliffbee.com
Another one of those pesky Botcon toys (Amazon.com search*), Devcon is a bit of an oddity since he’s a toy representation of a character that had only a single appearance in the Transformers cartoon way back in 1985. From the episode “The Gambler,” Devcon is an Autobot operating outside of the war. You really want to read the TFWiki Devcon entry to learn all about this guy because it’s a fun concept for a Transformers character.
A retool/repaint of the Transformers Generations Scourge*, this year’s Devcon toy takes that flying wing design and makes a remarkably-appropriate version of the Devcon character. The cliffbee.com review doesn’t offer any original pics of the toy — I should shoot some and share them — but if you’re one of those people who loves to read hop on over because the review dives in and tells you all about the toy.
The one thing I’ll add: I really love those colors! Nice and bright.
