Spotted Online – Transformers Powerdasher Illustrations
I reviewed one of the Transformers Powerdashers last year (review here), but that review cannot compete against these three Powerdasher illustrations that Pablo Hidalgo posted to Twitter. Awesome work! And so very fun to see those Powerdasher toys getting some attention.
So: When will we see third-party Powerdasher toys?
The last of the three Powerdashers. No name. As much as I think these guys are lame, there’s something charming about this goofball design. pic.twitter.com/OH4VQTBsK2

Another Powerdasher mail-in figure. No name at the time. You didn't know which design you'd get. Whole thing felt like clearing out stock. pic.twitter.com/5zWSz1E2x4

Getting to the dregs of 85 – Powerdashers. The mail order bot no one bothered to name or give a backstory to. At least he was cheap. pic.twitter.com/LSxnQc9uDE

I had the last guy. He had a cool vehicle mode–sort of a jet crossed with a futuristic car. I agree they were super dorky, but Pablo is right about the charm. And who could resist a mail-in Transformer?
