Spotted Online – Transformers Prime Dead End
Jump over to this post at TFW2005 for shots of the new Transformers Prime Dead End toy. Okay, wow. Awesome colors and this might be the toy that really drags me into the Transformers Prime series (site sponsor TFSource, Amazon.com search*). That Prime First Edition Bumblebee (review here) was solid trash, but I’m hearing good things about the newer toys and Dead End’s colors are just too cool to ignore.
What other deluxe Transformers Prime toys should I be checking out?

Wheeljack himself isn’t too shabby (Dead End being a repaint/remold), Ratchet is pretty nifty and Soundwave, while not looking much like G1, is pretty awesome, lots of articulation and I love the drone aircraft mode. The Vehicon is a real gem though (if you can find one), he’s the first Transformer since Energon’s Terrorcons to have me army building.
Knock Out is cool too, but his chest doesn’t really hold together that well, so if that bugs you, I’d skip him. Hot Shot is a very nice reuse of the Bumblebee mold with a new head and paint job. A nice touch is that his visor actually lowers over his eyes. Also, Cyberverse Bulkhead is pretty nifty.
I’m glad to see someone else likes Dead End. He might be a repaint, but he’s neat looking nonetheless.
Black Zarak has already mentioned most of the TFP figures worth getting, but I’d suggest getting Knock Out as well. Once you have the chest transformed correctly, everything sits nice and snug.
