Spotted Online – Transformers Reveal the Shield Perceptor Review at 16bit
The Reveal the Shield series (Amazon.com search*) included a mix of repaints and completely new molds, my least favorite of which just has to be the Reveal the Shield Perceptor* toy. I wrote a review of this toy over a year ago (review here) where I complained about the transformation process of the toy. Getting him into truck mode is murder!
Well, for a second opinion on the toy I direct you to the new 16bit.com Perceptor review where Adam writes:
I put this up there with the Alternators and some of the other overdesigned releases since 2002, it looks nice but the amount of squeaking, creaking, and stressing you’ll do to the figure just by changing it from one mode to another is beyond unrewarding. Just enjoy the robot mode on your shelf, and lament the fact that something so perfect is such a bad toy.
