Spotted Online – Unofficial Transformers Masterpiece Shockwave

I’m not really a fan of the Transformers Masterpiece series (Amazon.com search*). The Skywarp I own doesn’t have the nicest of transformation designs and the toy’s just larger than I like.
That said, though, I’m keeping a close eye on this upcoming third party Shockwave toy, Quake Wave. A Masterpiece-sized toy, the size bothers me but the design looks fantastic. See pics and some info in this post at TFW2005. Word is it’s about $150 and due out this quarter.

He does look quite amazing. I hope they can finish the project this time and not be cut short by Takara.
@PaxCybertron – I’m not familiar with the manufacturer and have my fingers crossed the final toy is as impressive as the photos.
As far as I’m aware, Fans Toys hasn’t released anything yet. Though they were working on a rather impressive MP-style Soundwave, which they canceled once Takara revealed MP-13.
Personally, I’m a fan of the MP line (to the point where I’m considering selling off most of my classics); so I’m really hoping this turns out well.
Looks nice, but I feel like it could use a few more splashes of a darker purple here and there to break up the solid color chest.
