Spotted Online – Unofficial Transformers Throttlebot, Grind Rod, Review at CollectionDX
I posted my own review and pics of Aurora, the unofficial Transformers Searchlight from Toyworld, earlier this month (review here), and I still think it is a great little transforming robot toy. Nice plastic, fun to transform, and a great look all roll together to make me recommend this toy to Transformers fans. Seriously, Toyworld impressed me with Aurora, and they also impressed me with the first unofficial Throttlebot release . . . but I have yet to review Grind Rod.
But even if I haven’t reviewed Grind Rod, others have: Take a look at the review of Grind Rod at CollectionDX for a video of the transformation (which I haven’t watched yet), thoughts, and several photos. I’ll agree with the assessment that this is a strong toy, but I’m not so sure if he’s $10 to $15 too much; I don’t have manufacturing info on the toy to get a feel for what he cost to produce.
I’d say you can buy either Grind Rod or Aurora and be happy . . . and buying both is the best choice of all.

Sure has been alot of positive responce from this line. Might be worth checking out…….especially since it will be an original gestalt.
