Spotted Online – Unpublished Star Wars Comic Strips by Al Williamson
Okay, it appears that I’ve no choice but to order a copy of the 1983 Art of Al Williamson* book. I’ve written before about how Carmine Infantino is my favorite Star Wars comic artist (posted here), but I could easily select Al Williamson in the number two spot.
Williamson worked on several Star Wars projects, including the daily comics (see this 1992 ad), but there were some Star Wars daily strips by Williamson that were never officially used. Charles Lippincott posted a photo of Williamson originals that he owns, and from that I followed a link to this Facebook album that you really must see if you’re a fan of Williamson’s artwork.
