Spotted Online – X2 Toys’ Upgrade for Transformers Trailcutter and Hoist Video Review
After running across pics of the Surefoot upgrade kit from Echo TF (posted here) I thought I’d go scan the web for opinions on the X2 Toys upgrade for the same toys. That led me to this video review from Benscollectibles where he looks at the version of the X2 kit that was created specifically for use with the Takara versions of the toys.*
Best feature of the kit? Has to be the rear assembly for Hoist and the stickers for both toys. Very nice work!
The little black pistol for TC also lets you mount his shield on his back while allowing the shield generator to properly point forward. Seriously, this set is on my top ten list of best third party add-ons ever. It simply makes two nice toys into really great toys. The shoes from Echo’s set with be icing on the cake.
