Spotted Online – Z-Bots at Infinite Hollywood and JesterGoblin

Even though today is the last day of Robots and Mecha Week! here at battlegrip.com, robot love doesn’t end today. Over at Infinite Hollywood, March of the Robots continues. And the robots are getting to be pretty obscure, as this Focus On Z-Bots proves.

M.U.S.C.L.E.s, Battle Beasts, Z-Bots . . . you know, I never really did appreciate these smaller toys as much as I should have when I was younger. I don’t know what it is about them, but today I’m finding myself more interested in the 2-inch scale figures than I ever was before. And that’s a bit annoying since it’s a scale not many toy producers are using these days.

Fortunately for me, there are pages like this Z-Bot Burger King toys review online to show me what I missed by not paying enough attention to the smaller toys. That’s the internet for you, showing you cool stuff you missed and leading you to poke around eBay. I’m betting that eBay gets more business from geeks finding old toys and junk they had forgotten than from any other segment of the population.

And just to give you guys something fun to watch, here’s a Z-Bots commercial.

  1. Thanks for the link! For the last few years I’ve been collecting Super Hero Squad figures and there was something I just loved about the size (besides being able to quickly hide them all when company was over). But it wasn’t until I went home and found my old Z-Bots, Muscle Men and Battle Beasts that I was able to remember that I had always loved toys this size.

And that ad is absolutely fantastic.

  2. after reading through mel byrnkrant’s cool page it seems he got a hand on these, too. no wonder they are so awesome! i hope i will snag more of these on future flea markets!
