Star Wars: 1,000 Collectibles at Sideshow Collectibles and Amazon

Now here’s what looks to be a great book, and it’s available from both Sideshow Collectibles* and Amazon.com**. Star Wars: 1,000 Collectibles is over 500-pages of photos of cool Star Wars items, and the photos over at the Sideshow Collectibles website make me think I would love this book.

I’m not a Kaws fan, but that Kaws Stormtrooper toy (see this old post at Vinyl Pulse) would be a great addition to my Stormtrooper collection. The $600 price tag at eBay scares me.

I love books, I love Star Wars, and I love books of collectibles and toys, so this looks like a perfect addition to our library here at home. You know, my Amazon Kindle*** may be awesome for reading novels, but no electronic device will ever replace a good book when it comes to art and toy books. Collections of images need to be in printed form to truly be useful and enjoyable. Websites are good, but books are better for this sort of thing.
