Star Wars 30th “Accepted everywhere in the galaxy.”

By the time that this advertisement was published in 2007, Hasbro had been producing Star Wars action figures for almost twice the time that Kenner created the vintage toys between 1978 and 1985. This series of ads is a bit cleaner and graphic than some of the other Hasbro Star Wars ads of the time, and what makes this one stand out is that it focuses on the collectible coins that Hasbro packed with figures. What’s funny is that the coins mirror one of Kenner’s promotional efforts in the eighties; we keep repeating the past, people!
