Star Wars and Masters of the Universe Classics, My Two Reviews at DoomKick

I was given the honor of closing out Guest Review Week at DoomKick with two new reviews that I hope all of you will check out. Both dive into conversations a little more about the lines than the toys being shown, but I feel that if you’ve been reading both my Star Wars Jumbo Vintage and Masters of the Universe Classics action figure reviews then you’ll find these new reviews entertaining. (Well, I hope someone finds them entertaining.)

First up is my Rattlor review, in which I state: “Mattel’s Masters of the Universe Classics line is going to go down in the history books as a grand and successful experiment, and Rattlor deserves to be the opening to an entire chapter of the Snake Men and how parts resuse allowed Mattel to bring us so many great action figures at what is, arguably, a lower price than many of us should have expected.” I know that’s a fairly grand statement, but I feel it’s true.

Next up is my Star Wars Jumbo Vintage Snaggletooth review. He looks great with the Blue Snaggletooth (review here), so please be sure to check him out.

Thank you to DrRampageo for allowing me to be a part of his special week. I should really contribute guest reviews to other sites more than I have.

  1. That Snaggletooth looks like another awesome figure. Thanks for reviewing it. Gentle Giant should send you something because your reviews are what got me to buy the ones I have.

  2. @T-Rav – I certainly wouldn’t say “no” to stuff from Gentle Giant, but they were very kind and shipped me a replacement Boba Fett gun so I’m quite happy. (If anyone at Gentle Giant reads this and wants to send me one of each of the two Jawas I will not say no. The Jawa was my very first Star Wars action figure ever when I was kid.)

  3. Great stuff as always Phil! Guest Review week has been a huge success due to all the hard work everyone put in for me. It is much appreciated…and now I have to buy at least 1 jumbo sw figure
